We are heading off towards the Peak District, an area full of beautiful hills- the Pennines. Arriving late in the evening, we follow a small road leading up a hill and find this nice hidden spot. Undisturbed we cook and enjoy the evening.
On the next morning we drive further into the Peaks. On the way to Edale, we park somewhere in the Hope Valley and go for a morning walk to explore the landscape.
After that little exercise and a well deserved “Monkey Bread” (Nutella and banana) we drive to Edale, a small and picturesque village in the valley. We buy some stuff for lunch and search for a nice place to cook. Parked up next to a little river, we let some heavy rain pass by and spend some comfy hours eating, reading and relaxing.
In the late Afternoon we start driving and looking out for another outstanding camp spot. Our well established technique of driving up a hill as far as it goes, prevails again and we end up with a spectacular view just in time for sunset 🙂
